About Her



.Having a Family History of Social Work she aimed at being the change in society . With compassion , dedication and commitment she has been a part of the social work sector since 10 yrs now .  This young girl has been living her life sincerely for a cause and for the welfare of different marginalized children and people of our society .  She appreciates her life and feels blessed in helping those who really are in need of help than helping the ones who can help themselves . 
Being trained under several teachers and mentors she has been a committed volunteer and person who everyone looks up to and is inspired  to get themselves involved in the social sector and take it up as a career . She has been a source of motivation for youth of this century . She is been a dear friend, mother and sister to several 100s of vulnerable children . Reaching out to the unreached sections of society her aim is to spread peace and happiness. With her creative skills and talents she has been able to develop many projects and have helped in changing identities of vulnerable children through healing  & therapeutic activities .
She started her career with Don Bosco school matunga training children in dance . With 5 yrs of her service she shifted to Shelter don Bosco Rehabilitating children and youth from drug abuse and street culture for 8 yrs. She was also simultanouesly working with Maria Ashiana - Drug rehab centre lonavla and Don bosco karjat -youth training centre. 


At the moment she is working as a consultant with Don bosco balprafulta rescusing, rehabilitating and repatriating Child Laboruers  and  Don Bosco Research centre with various projects 1) Rapid Assessment of street children in 16 cities of India 2) Drug De-addiction program for marginalized in india 3) Policy and Advocacy 4)Source Area intervention 
5)Working in Children's Government homes across the state.6) Arts Based therapy in different slums, tribal villages, bmc schools, rural sector, Remandd homes, Juvenile delinquents, Street children,  Youth and volunteers etc .

She has been involved in several projects at Don Bosco India and is rigorously  working towards bringing an end to the Street Children pheonomena through  sustainable development of the margianilized in india through Social & financial Incluison ( www.connectallindia.com) under the guidance of Dr.Fr.Barnabe Dsouza , sbd  at ( Don Bosco Research centre ,Mumbai India).


As a hardcore social worker and an Arts Based Therapist .....From inspiring , motivating  & training children & youth , she further aims to dedicate her life in changing lives of 1000's of children , youth and people of her country through her hardwork and dedication to see the positive change for a sustainable period of time. 


  With creating education as a solid footing to change lives every year she has aimed to take an initiative to study, gain immense knowledge and improvise her skills to reach the unreached  population of her country.

  •   Airhostess Training Course- Institute of Hotel Management ,Mumbai
  •    Volunteers training children – Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai
  • Human resources – Welingkar Institute of Management Development & Research,Mumbai
  • Pursuing Masters in Social Work – Indira Gandhi Open University , Delhi
  •  Arts Based therapy – World Centre for Creative Learning , Pune

She was able to attain several awards in her creative skills 

Her Achievments :
  •  State Level awards as Best female Dancer
  • Grihad Mumbai award as best couple dancer
  •  Ramanarayn Ruia College award 
  •   In Mumbai – Sankalp Award
  •  Mumbai District level Gold medalist in skating
  •   Award by Maharastra government to represent SNDT women’s University in Republic Day Parade
  •  Several  other Awards in dance in schools and colleges .
