Anstrengung United :

Hug Therapy for All   

She initiated a sweet cause of Hugs for all . She belives that every person who is deprived of love and care needs a hug . To bring peace to several children and people through hug therapy scientifically proven to bmost effective for bringing stress levels down she takes a Hug Teddy Bear where she knows she would meet children and caters to them with a 15 minute hug in his arms . It has been extremely effective for them and the response have been excellent in terms of making them feel good and loved

Wall art for a Cause .

With artwork as her talent she has been able to create wall arts with children and spread awareness about different issues in their lives. In a creative way she depicts different life coping kills through this Wall Mural art. 

Creating Memories through Adventure Camping 

She has been a Moutaineering Leader & Instructor for 5 yrs . She involved several under priviledged children and youth organizing short and long camps . She closes volunteers with Mountain Lovers . http://mountainlovers.ning.com/

With Taking children and youth fro adventure camps she has inspired 6 Marginalized youth to take up jobs as an Adventure instructor with Quest Adventures and Wilder West Adventures. As you say You never know with your actions who may take it up as their dream..

CHOOSING THE RIGHT PATH by Gayatri Joshi who is a social worker 

It is easy for youth from good family backgrounds to pickup jobs and make their careers right . But for youth from the marginalized sections of our society is a difficult cup of tea.

Even though they may acquire the skill, a street youth/NGO child may not find employment. The challenge is to match the needs for specific education, training and employment for this group of vulnerable youth.  The job market is competitive and many youth are exploited because of their lack of knowledge, education and skills.

Shelter Don Bosco aims to empower these youth by offering them career options, enhancing knowledge and skills with respect to job opportunities, enabling them to choose appropriate job training that will in turn lead to secure employment. Underprivileged Youth are counselled to educate ,trained in a skill and to aim to achieve a goal in their life

We are extremely grateful to the team at Quest Expeditions to help us by recruiting 8 boys at their Adventure campsites at Mandwa, Rishikesh & Kolad. With an aim to help them choose careers of their choice we were successful in helping these youth naming Govinda , Shiva, Sujeet, Vishnu, Jeetu ,Subhash, Vinayak and Rizwaan .Coming from difficult backgrounds and various situations these youth have great difficulty in passing their school exams, dropping out from vocational training and jobs they were placed at. With great enthusiasm and determination to support Mr. Jehan Driver at Quest Expeditions has helped us train these youth and change their identities . It has been miraculous to see these youth change and become contributory and productive citizens of our society .

I was quite worried to think how their future would be like with the kind of results and improvements they showed during their academic life. It is just very surprising to see the way they have made efforts to do something in life and become such good Adventure instructors. I am happy to see them at Quest Expeditions and not the streets taking up random jobs . Her main aim of conducting such camps was to make children & youth understand the importance of Global warming , bring them close to nature and help them save their enviornment by respecting it . The camps also  helped the children holistically develop and rejuvenate themselves on a weekend in the midst of nature.  

She is also supporting Quest Adventures with camps for underprivileged children for water sports .   3 Boys were sent for training as an Adventure instructors ,skills training and buildt their career in the travel industry.

Tattoo for a Cause 

Tattooing being very close to children she aimed at using this skill in her to spread different social issue meseages amonsgt them . This have been very effective for many social work events . 

Helping children understand Peace ... the tatoo created was named "Shanti "-- (Child at peace )

In the Mission towards creating  Peace 

She is a block leader for Peace building  at a Buddhist Japanese organization Soka Gakkai International / Bharat Soka Gakkai International. www.sgi.org – Under the guidance of her Mentor Daisaku Ikeda she has been able to help youth dvision members including 15 girls  in her block to attain indestructible happiness & peace . With her mentors mission to help people understand themselves better and bring a change in their lives and create their own human history she aims at spreading the Mystic Law of  Lotus Sutra to as many people as possible and be a part of this mission towards World Peace all her life .
